I was honored to accept the 2026 William F. Deeck - Malice Domestic Grant for Unpublished Writers at the Malice Domestic 38 Agatha Awards Banquet on Saturday evening, April 25, 2026. The banquet took place during the 38th Malice Domestic Conference in Bethesda, Maryland. I was thrilled to share the stage with Lifetime Achievement Honoree Jacqueline Winspear, Guest of Honor Annette Dashofy, and Toastmaster Ellen Byron, along with all the incredibly talented Agatha award winners and nominees. It was an exhilarating few days spent in the company of, and learning from, so many amazing authors and readers.  I am so grateful to the Malice Domestic Grant Committee chaired by Harriette Sackler and the Malice Domestic Board for their support.
